How to Transport a Cake?

The cake is baked and decorated-now it’s time to celebrate!

Have you ever had trouble knowing how to make sure your cake doesn't get damaged in transit? Anyway, I am!

Let's discuss how to solve this problem

Choose the right base and make sure you place your cake in a right way.

Make sure to secure your bottom layer to the cake board or platter using a little swipe of buttercream frosting. This will prevent your cake from sliding off the base.

Make sure you choose the right size cake board to match your cake. Usually your cake board should be about two inches larger than your cake, so there's extra room to make sure your cake doesn't scratch when it's being transported or taken out.

You can choose cake drum, cake base board, double thick cake board or MDF cake board accordingly to your need, sunshine have a wide variety of different types of Cake boards for you to choose from!

Layered cakes require extra cake boards

If your cake has more than one tier, then it's very important to add additional cake boards on each layer.

Choose the right size for the cake box

Use the same size as your cake board,if your box is slightly larger than your board, use a non-skid mat inside the box to prevent your cake from sliding around. Or you'll see a completely different cake,LOL.

For the heavy cake, you can choose cake box with separate lid made by corrugated paper material, which is very strong.

For the normal birthday cake you can choose our sunshine transparent cake box, which is very beautiful, can make your cake look better!
