Type 4: PET and PP plastic materials Cake Box
These plastic are popular as well because they are clear and water proof. They buyer can see right through the cake of how it looks like if your cakes are decorated very nice. But plastic cake box are more popular in smaller size cake box, such as 1 ct cupcake box, 4 inch or Max 6 inch cake. Cuz the more big the cake box, the more thick it needs the plastic need to be. When the plastick thickness increasing, the cost of the material is increasing as well as the shipping cost, cuz it is getting more heavy also.
Type 5: Metal
Metal cake boxes are usually made of Tin mateiral. They are strong, protection is good, also can keep the food fresh. But this material cost is higher than the other we mentioned aboved. If you have a high budget and relatively high sales costs for your desserts, choosing this type of box is a good option. But the metal box cannot be folded while it is packing, so it will makes the shipping cost high. So, how do you choose the right material?
